The below link has a list (like 30 pages) of popular and common Latin phrases!.

I have used this list for my personal tattoos and found it a great resource!. Some of my favorites are:

"alea iacta est" - The die has been cast, meaning something is begun that cannot be stopped

"nosce te ipsum" - Know thyself!.

"non sum qualis eram" - "I am not such as I was" Or "I am not the kind of person I once was"!. Expresses a change in the speaker!.

"oderint dum metuant" - Let them hate, so long as they fear

"sic semper tyrannis" - ever thus to tyrants

"sapere aude" - Dare to be wise!.

"tu fui ego eris" - "what you are, I was; what I am, you will be!."

These are just a few of the many many phrases!. Please follow the link below!.

also!.!.!. as for location!. My roommate has pretty cool tattoo!. Its a Latin phrase written backwards on his chest, so that it appears correctly when he looks at it in the mirror!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I strongly suggest that you get any tattoo in a language you speak! Only fools get something marked on their bodies they don't understand!.
People DO get tattoos that they think say "death eater" but actually says poop eater, so something else just as stupid!. If you have something to say, it must be worth saying in YOUR language, or don't bother!Www@QuestionHome@Com
