B, is the correct answer!. He called for volunteers to invade the Deep South to bring them back into the Union!. This was something that some of the remaining slave states (Maryland, Kentucky, and Missouri were slave states that remained loyal to the Union) could not tolerate!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Horrible question!. Virginia seceded after alot of debate, south carolina seceded after election, north carolina seceded after being ordered to raise volunteers to invade it's sister state, and so on!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Many of the states seceeded when Lincoln was elected!. So, I don't see how any of these answers are right!. A and C are definitely wrong, though!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
