Question: What is WASP-Puritan!?

WASP stands for White Anglo-Saxon Protestant!.

It's a stereotype of (generally) well-to-do rich white folk!. Furthermore they're supposed to be morally and socially conservative, one might even describe them as wowsers!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'll just point out that a person can be a WASP and be a hillbilly living in the mountains of West Virgina!. Many of them can trace their ancestry to British/Scottish/Irish roots, and their religion is strongly Protestant!.

its a white anglosaxon protestant!. There's not really a history!. its just a term for many white Christians that moved here from Britian etc before all the italian, irish, jewish immigrants came to Ellis Island!.
