Had he spoken out against the Nazi regime at the time, the murders and suffering could have been much worse!. And those that like the catholic church will say he saved more jewish people than Schindler!. So basicly it comes down to whether you like the catholic church or not!. By the way Schindler did not openly denounce the nazis or he & his family would have been killed!. Don't think that the nazi's would not have over run the vatican & shut down the underground efforts they were making to save the jewish people if the Pope were more vocal!.
