egyptians believed you had three souls, the ka,ba, and akh,
Osiris- it was believed that when you died, your ka was judged by the god osiris, if you had sinned, you were put to work in grain fields or as a slave, if you had been good in life, you would be highly rewarded with an afterlife of luxury
