There is this bastard field of "study" called ebonics, in which extraordinary distortions are permitted to enhance the contribution of "black" people to world history!. The attempt is counter-productive, as the manifest stupidities devalue the genuine contributions!. One of the worst stupidities is trying to prove that the ancient Egyptians were "black" (they must be, because they come from Africa), which means that all North African people, including Berbers, must be "black"!. The problem is semantics -- the choice of words!. As you noted, not all Africans are Black, and Berber is not a single racial or ethnic group!. The whole concept of Racial Identity seems kinda silly to me anyway!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
