Question: What was the situation of Amsterdam when Anne Frank wrote her diary!?
I need to know the culture, arts, economy and government of Amsterdam(the Netherlands) during the time when Anne Frank wrote her diary!. As far as I know Anne Frank wrote her diary between 1942-1945!. I need to know everything about this for our group presentation on June 23, 2008!. I really need your help as sooon as possible!.!.!.!.

Occupied by the Nazis!. Martial law!. Jews and dissidents being rounded up daily!. Nazis confiscating food and other resources to use in the war effort!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

it was during ww2, after germany had invaded and taken over amsterdam!. she, with her parents, family, a doctor, and another couple lived for three years in an attack upstairs behind a bookcase, where they got help from one of annes fathers friends!. they were eventually discovered by a neighbour, and the nazi officials sent them to concentration camps!. i think only two of them survivedWww@QuestionHome@Com
