Hitler wanted a lot of land!. It was mainly because of Japan's blood thristyness of world domination, and Italy and Hitler wanted world domination also!. It started in september, 1938!. Hitler wanted to imprison Jews because the Nazi blamed the Jews for their loss in ww1!. Mussolini just wantd more land!. First Hitler wanted Czechosolovakia to be part of germany,but he wanted Poland too!. then Britian and France refuesed it!. The cosnequences were the death rates and a lot of money was lost!. It was known as the blizkrieg!. 6 million jews were slaughtered and buildings were destroyed!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

one of the reasons why it started was because there was a pact that Poland should not be invaded!. but even after having signed the pact, the Nazis went into Poland anyway!. Since Hitler broke the pact, UK and France were forced to declare war on Germany!. This was around 1939, i believe!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
