Question: Sewards folly/alaska purchase!?

The US bought Alaska from Russia!. Some people thought it was the worst thing we could have done!. We got lots of land but it was way up North near the Arctic Circle!. They thought there was nothing there but ice and snow!. Turns out there was oil there!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
