The Battle of the Bulge, (December 1944), was Fought in the Belgium's Ardennes Forest, It was Germany's main last Offensive, if they won, could have extended the war in the west!. On the other hand, I think if they had re-grouped back to the Rhine, could have also extended the war, much-much longer, mainly fought by the U!.S!. supported by the British, The allies won!.
The Invasion of Normandy, (operation overlord, D-Day, 6th June 1944), was finally won after a very hard Fought battles on the 5 beaches of Normandy, Sword, Juno, Gold, (British 2nd army), Omaha and Utah, (U!.S!. 1st army), by the allies!.

My GOD!.!.!. don't they even teach the basics of WW2 in schools these days!. I know they don't teach any history before the civil war but not teaching the most basic things about World War 2 is unforgivable!.

You don't know anything about WW2, do you!? all you know are the buzz words

The invasion of Normandy was fought in France and our side won!.!.!. except for those rows and rows of crosses that are marking the people who died there so NOBODY WOULD EVER FORGET THEIR SACRIFICE!.
