Question: Quick yet explanitory definition of of a cooper!?
in the new york colony to be more specific, what did a cooper do!? and any other quick facts about them would be great, as i am doing a power point!. i know that they like made barrels and stuff with wood, but thats about it!.

a person who made wooden barrels!. They also had to make the metal bands that went around them!.

That's what I know coopers make wine barrels!.!.!.!. In New York it probably would have been for maple syrup!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
