Question: Why was the new york colony settled!?
um, yeah!. why was it settled by originally the dutch!. if u could tell me who!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. non-originally settled it then that would be great too!.

It was settled originally by native Americans and then the Dutch!. They called it New Amsterdam!. Then it was renamed New York after the Duke of York!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

New York colony was settled by Dutch!.There were some Dutch opposed them coming over!.The Dutch Reformation Church was the Dutch's equivalent to The Church of England!.It
was the Manhattan Colony back then!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
