Afraid I'm not sure what you're looking for, artistically and culturally they were as Greek as anyone who came after them and certainly influenced all the later Greek societies!.

I think the linear a and b tablets were found on Crete which are the first instances of written Greek!. The Minoans were also fond of building palaces which was transferred to the mainland, as well as their skills with metalurgy and goldsmithing!.

The Mycenaeans built up on this but also proved themselves to be rather nasty and warlike!. They conquered Crete and fought as mercenaries all across the Mediteranean!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
