The question is somewhat ambiguous but in terms of political science, we're dealing with a highly-centralized decision making apparatus in a fascist authoritarian regime!. That's the macro-level picture!. In other words, the decision-making at that level could be seen to be highly monolithic, centralized, and ideologically-driven!. If we turn to its micro (ground)-level implementation, however, it might be a different story!. The implementation decisions taken by junior to mid-level Nazi officers in the concentration camps may have been more pragmatic (in a perverse way) than ideological!. Not to engage in apologia or anything, but the people interpreting these decisions were most certainly not all thoroughgoing ideologues!. It could then be argued that they simply found the fastest/laziest way of accomplishing the ideologically-driven "oppression" ordered by Hitler and his acolytes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hitler, the leader of the Nazis basically hated jews (for reasons unknown), and being very charismatic, convinced many of the German people at the time to hate them to, this resulted in the nazis mentally and physically scarring most jews in north-western Europe, as the nazis conquered poland, netherlands, france belgium etc!., and killing many!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
