Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
There was certainly a good deal of anti-war music during the 60s!. Much of this was focused specifically on the Vietnam War, and included songs like "Fixing to Die Rag" by Country Joe and the Fish, "War" by Edwin Starr, and "Fortunate Son" by Creedence Clearwater Revival!. The theme of possible nuclear anhilation was also evident in songs like "Eight Miles High" by the Byrds (the mushroom cloud of a nuclear detonation is said to reach eight miles in height)!. Many musicians in the 60s recorded tunes that were critical of war and the "war-mentality" that seemed to have gripped the world!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
