Question: What happened to Native Americans during the African Slave Trade!?

I am an aussie student and the text book doesnt mention native americans after the intro about reasons for investing in african slaves, so im really curious what happened to the remainder of their population!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Through a series of wars & broken treaties; the Native Americans were relocated, defeated & sometimes exterminated (both intentionally and unintentionally- European diseases took a heavy toll on indigenous populations of the Americas and Australia)!. :-(

Eventually, the remaining tribes were moved to reservations; which generally was land the whites didn't want or couldn't use!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
