He means that any nation that is so consumed with hating another country, they become blind to anything good that other nation may have or do!. Thus becoming a "slave" to their own hatred!. For instance, GWBush is a slave to his irrational hatred of Iraq!. He fails to see any balance in that poor embattled country!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
