Question: Why China didn't reclaim Mongolia after WW2!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
The Soviet Union was there in military force, and had great influence on the Mongolian government!. Russia's influence has been greater than China's in the state since the fall of the Quing dynasty, 1911!. IT was the Red Army with Mongolian Army support that drove the Japanese out of Manchuria at the end of the war!.

While Mongolia tried to avoid entanglement in the Soviet-Sino dispute of the '60s, the two sides agreed to a settlement that allowed significant Russian troops to be stationed there!. By the 1980s nearly all Chinese residents were expelled from Mongolia, some who had been there since the 1950s
