Question: How did Malaysia get independence!?

As we all know that Malaysia get Independence in year 1957!.
But does anyone knows that how Malaysia get independence!?
Why British let Malaysia to independence so easily!?
Can anyone tell my why please!?

The British were too poor after WW2 to administer their Empire so they just gave most of the countries independence!. and kept a few military basesWww@QuestionHome@Com
