and i think i read somewhere that catherine of aragon had red hair!?!?Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: There are portraits of all of them (except Katherine Howard), which you can probably find on Yahoo! Images!. Catherine of Aragon in her younger days was a sweetly pretty reddish-blonde!. Later portraits show her grown stout and matronly--she was the only one of Henry's wives to live long enough to do so! Jane Seymour also seems to have been a blonde!. Although her head-dress in her portraits (which all seem to be copies of the same one) covers her hair, her eyebrows in the color portrait are reddish-lblond!. The portraits show a long nose and a prim litle mouth!. Anne of Cleves also has her hair covered in her portraits, which show a rather passive-looking but attractive woman with a fair complexion and a slim figure!. The contemporary description of her as "brown" evidently refers to her hair color!. There is no known, definitely identified portrait of Katherine Howard--the picture once thought to be of her (http://www!.thehudsonschool!.org/renassian!.!.!. which always looked too old to me to be of a teenager, has now been identified as someone else!. There are several of Katherine Parr, most of them showing rather small eyes and a determined little mouth!. This site shows the most attractive one: http://images!.search!.yahoo!.com/images/vi!.!.!. of Cleves is said to have remarked when Henry married Katherine, "Well, I'm better-looking than SHE is!") As for Anne Boleyn, as you said, we're all pretty familiar with what she looked like--or at least with this portrait: www!.englishtouringopera!.org!.uk , which Vanessa Redgrave looked like in A Man for All Seasons--but there are other portraits of her as well: http://images!.search!.yahoo!.com/search/im!.!.!. Not beautiful, perhaps, but fascinating!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Anne of Cleves was notably not very good looking which is why Henry Divorced her pretty Quickly!. she had light brown hair blue eyes and a fairly wide brow Katherine of Aragon had a mid brown-reddish hair and a fairly round face Anne Boleyn had brown hair and a rather refined oval face Jane Seymour had Strawberry blonde hair and though she was Henry's favourite seems not to be so attractive by our standards Katherine Parr and Howard both appear to be Brunettes Howard is supposed to be the best looking!.Www@QuestionHome@Com For the standards of the time, these women were deemed beautiful however, take a look for yourself: First wife - Catherine of Aragon: http://www!.illusionjewels!.com/renportrai!.!.!.
