Born in 1758 in Arras in northern France he was a lawyer and he was elected to the states general in 1789 where his influence grew as the revolution neared!. The infighting among the revolutionaries left Robespierre supreme by April 1794, but for only 3 months , by July he was declared an outlaw and executed along with 18 others of his faction on Juily 28!. I am not aware of any direct connection to the King, but he was the public accuser at the time of the King's trial and execution!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Robespierre did the Reign of Terror in the French Revolution!. He was the leader of the Jacobin/Sans-Culottes!. This was part of the radical phase of the revolution!. they were put down and he was executed!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
