Its happening all the time!. Ethnic cleansing is something that's happened for thousands of years!. People dont care unless its in their face!. Yes, it easily could!. Something not entirely unlike the holocaust occured in former Yugoslavia in recent years when a lot of 'ethnic cleansing' went on!.

Racism is alive and well in Europe and probably always will be!. And anti-semitism is on the rise!. Human nature doesn't change very much!. I believe it's already occured, though not in the same numbers as the Holocaust!. Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is located on Europe's Balkan Penisula, leaps to mind!. Ethnic cleasining resulted in about 8,000 Bosniac male deaths!.

I think given the right conditions it's perfectly possible for their to be a genocide very much like the Holocaust and even worse in Europe today!. I am not certain it would be against the Jews!. And I'd probably look towards the Balkans, as prejuidice as that sounds!. As I've said already, ethnic cleansing wiped about 8,000 Bosniak lives!. It never stopped!. What about the genocide against Shiites by Sunni's in Iraq under Saddam!? They killed thousands with poison gas, and mass executions!. What about Africa!? What about Malaysia where oil rigs are manned by Christian slaves!.

My biggest concern is that it will happen here in the U!.S!. Look at Los Angeles riots etc!.!.!. If you change a few words around here and there in most of these hate speeches directed at whites, it sounds like pre war Germany and speeches against the Jews!. Europe is too integrated now, but once you go East into the former Communist bloc countries such as Bosnia, Serbia and Romania the old hatreds are still alive and thriving and a strong leader could well use those feelings to do some massive ethnic cleansing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It is possible but highly unlikely!. Europe, especially Germany, will not repeat another Holocaust because of the devastation the Holocaust inflicted on the lives of all those who were involved--directly and indirectly!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
