George Washington would not take civil disobedience so early in the country!. He actually raised his army and led a full assault on the rebels!. However, Washington sympathized with them and understood that the Whiskey Tax was seen as unfair by most of the populace!. Only two of the distillers were actually arrested, and both were pardoned!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
