The cause was that she was the last Tudor and since she died with out kids the last Tudor king/queen!.and since she was the youngest female she had a very low chance of being the queen
The effects were that she turned the UK into protestant and it has stayed that way after her reign!. She was also the first queen who wasn't crazy (aka Queen Mary 1) She helped shape up Britain's economy and she also destroyed the Spanish armada!. She is probably one of the reasons that Britain is the way it is today!. also for the period she was really clean!. She took 4 baths a yearWww@QuestionHome@Com
