Position:Home>History> How were monarchs of earlier centuries inferior to twentith century dictators?

Question:The difference was the monarchs ruled by tradition and divine right....the people were used to the rule of the monarchy, also Democracy was something many parts of the world was unaware of...so the subjects were not aware of any rights they had that were being taken away. Monarchs inherited power, Dictators seized it by force....though several Monarchial dynasties did take power with force

Also Monarchs were thought to be above regular humans...greater humans. So it would be unthought of to disobey them.

Long story short monarchy is more family blood and tradition and dictatorship is just not

For monarchs, their power was inherited, as opposed to seized. Dictators usually had huge military power at their command. Furthermore they were probably in control of more industrialized societies.
