I believe vassals were considered to be of a lower class than lords, so they probably worked very hard to provide for their families.
Lords.......they probably did very little, except lounge around in luxury.
Find a good encyclopedia and do your own research on it to be sure. Go to the public library, or your school's library. (NOT wikipedia....it is no longer considered a reliable source, even though some teachers tell their students to use it.....anyone who wants to can post an article on it....whether they know what they are talking about or not!)
