Question:I know i'm gettin greedy but I just asked a question about civil rights and how it was impacted by the vietnam war. I'm going to focus on the college campus and their involvement w/ civil rights and peace movements, the connection of anti-draft efforts + the civil rights, and the types of repression from both by the goverment

The protests against America's participation in the Vietnam War mark the first widespread protest by Americans against their own government. Trust in the government would never again be as reflexive as it had been. It also made individual citizens realize that they could agitate for change otherwise than occaisonal participation in elections. It thus encouraged participation in struggle for other rights, notably civil rights for all Americans.
