Position:Home>History> Was the arrival of british settlers beneficial to indegenous australians?

Question:please expalin

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: please expalin

No, not at all. Just as in the Americas, the Europeans brought unknown disease and customs with them. Rather than trying to understand and accept the Aborigines, they enslaved and tried to destroy them.

It was a whole different culture. Talk about opposites! Every thing you can think of made them opposites.
