History Project on the XYZ Affair !?!?

Question:I was put in a group of 3 (me & 2 idiots). The project is on the XYZ Affair and we are supposed to "teach" my class about it. I have a poster board to put my groups info on, but I don't know how to divide the presentation into 3 parts.Each of us is supposed to say something about it. I was going to divide it by giving one person the info on what happened b4 the affair/what started it, one person the actual affair info and one person what happened after (like how our relationship with France was after) . Is this a good idea? If you have any other ideas please tell me.

And on top of all of this I still have to get the other peoples info b/c they never gave it to me after I asked a dozen times & they had a whole week to get (that's why I called them idiots) & we can't meet over the weekend.
So this is really my project now.

that sounds pretty good - you should focus on the repercussions of the XYZ affair and how it led to other things (like the Sedition Act). the events of the XYZ affair are pretty simple and basic, so you should go more into how the event shaped what happened afterward.
