The Vikings were great sailors. A visit to the Pacific would've entailed sailing down to the Gulf of Mexico (no evidence they did) and crossing the Isthmus of Panama (places names anachronistic, of course) or mounting a Lewis & Clark-type continental crossing, which was not the Vikings' thing, though the Kennewick man could've been a Viking.

Only in Salinas, California. :-) My high school mascot there was Victor the Vikings. I went to North Salinas High School where we were known as the Vikings. (A bit of humor.) That was 40+ years ago so it was back during the dark ages.

No, they were only able to travel around the Northern Atlantic.
