What about Martin Luther king and Rosa Parke's? Without them this still wouldn't be an equal country. Also the women that helped runaway slaves do you know how many lives she saved? Shes famous but I'm so bad with names! Their were women that helped to give equal rights to women and I admire them too. Jesus Christ was someone that fought for what he believed in and was a great man. {Did you know he might have had female apostles too? I have to look more into that} JFK did alot of great things as president I think he was the one that saved alot of forests by passing a law and Abraham Lincoln was a great man who united the US and freed slaves even though he was seriously depressed and under a lot of stress. We also cant forget the great musicians such as Beethoven and the not so great ones for helping advance music and the barb{I forget the spelling of that short word}, Shakespeare for giving us such fabulous plays that really spoke to the soul.

I love to read about Cleopatra and Nefertiti. Strong women!

Dorothy Canfield Fisher...feminist, educator, fantastically interesting person. She brought the Montessori method to the U.S. and was named one of the most influential women of her time by Eleanor Roosevelt.

Definitely Helen Keller...a woman born deaf and blind, but became an author and did many wonderful things..
