Question:To tell you beforehand I'm not being lazy. Its just that I've searched everywhere and I cannot find it... I guess I have bad research skills. Well here they are:
Is the Lewis Clark Expedition during this period of time?? What about the Louisiana Purchase?? Would that be one of events that happened??
If so what was the year and month and day???
I need the full date.
Can you please me a very good website so I can research??
I looked through my textbook but that wasn't really helpful.
Thanks in Advance:)

there are tooo many things that happened during that time to list here!
try these websites - they may help
http://www.animatedatlas.com/timeline.ht...
http://www.nationalroadpa.org/historical...
http://www.ket.org/underground/timeline/...
http://inquiryunlimited.org/timelines/hi...

re lewis and clark
http://www.lib.virginia.edu/small/exhibi...

you can also google a 'historical timeline' for different states
and for the louisiana purchase just type that in--i found 34,600,000 hits.
just browse through a few to get the information on it you need.

the timelines will give ideas of other things to get more details on.

as for dates you will need to read the info yourself to get the best use out of it.
((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((...
later when you are not in a hurry - pick a page at random out of one of your textbooks and start searching the internet for information- learn what key words work best and just play with it. the next time you need to do an assignment it will be much much easier if you have a better idea on how to find things

The Louisiana Purchase, which extends from the MIssissippi River to the Rocky Mountains, was acquired on April 30, 1803.

Lewis and Clark were sent by the president to explore the Louisiana Purchase territory, as it had remained generally ignored. Their expedition began that year in 1803.

Other events during this time include:

- The War of 1812 (Great Britain vs. U.S.)

- The "Era of Good Feelings" (period of time that began after the United States' victory in the War of 1812)

- The Missouri Compromise (important - Missouri was entered into the Union as a slave state even though it was technically part of the North)

- The Seneca Falls Women's Rights Convention

- The Compromise of 1850 (also important)
