Question:Scottish people would this be wrong to say this?
Source A is about the problems caused when the Maid of Norway became queen.
Source A

1. Why were there problems when the Maid of Norway became queen? (Use Source A

CONTEXT 2: WALLACE, BRUCE
AND THE WARS OF
INDEPENDENCE, 1286 –1328
The Scottish nobles were not keen to have a female ruler because they wanted a warrior to lead
them. The tragic death of Alexander III in 1286 left them little choice. They saw the main problem
as who she was to marry. If she married a Scot, he would gain a lot of power which would make
other noble families jealous. If she married a foreigner, then Scotland might be taken over by a foreigner

would i get into trouble for writing this

Firstly maid of Norway did not make it to scotland to be crowned queen of scotland. She died in orkney which was not part of the scottish kjngdom during the time in which scotland faced such troubles. Historically she was never queen of scotland and this question is inrellvent to any truth or just. Since the question isinvalid i feel like the answer I give you would be wrong however if the maid of norway did become queen the nobles would be afraid of her not being good if a war was to ever be taken up. If she ever married the delemia would be the husband taking complete control of Scotland that would not be good.

Given that their history is WRONG, take into account that you are required to use the "source" given which states that the Maid of Norway became queen. You are not supposed to correct their history, but take that as a given. It's a trick question.

Answer it first as if the question is valid. In a second paragraph, state that Source A is incorrect and the Maid of Norway did not become queen of Scotland. That way you are covered on both counts.

"Firstly" - Since you're trying to sound so smart I would use a real word or phase like "First of all" instead of a made up one like "firstly".

Secondly - If you're in High School or junior high, just do your homework and don't push the teacher. If you're in College, then go ahead and express your opinion; however, if you are in college I'd work on the grammatical structure of your sentences (towards the end). If you want to sound smart you gotta be smart all the way.

However, if the maid of norway had become queen, the nobles concern was that she would not be able to handle a war. Also they feared a possible marriage could rend or destroy the kingdom.

*Btw- You are right in your answer but no high school teacher wants the extra stuff. They just want the homework done.
