Hi there. Firstly there are so many changes that have taken place since the end of apartheid, political, social, economical .... If you are more specific as to what part of society was affected I could offer more help, but I will list a few obvious factors. The white government changed when Nelson Mandela was elected the first black president. This also meant that black, coloured and Indian people had a freedom they never had before, example being able to walk on the pavement, being allowed at public swimming pools, being allowed in town after the normal curfew hours & not having to have a special pass to be allowed in white only areas, just to name a few. Basically the end of apartheid meant a lot more privelages for ethnic people. Hope this helps. Good luck!
