Question: How can I get autosomal test to find my roots!?

I am African American who is trying to find my mother side roots!. My mother has no idea in whats in her background!. Is there a doctor that can give me a blood test or something!. I really trying to see if I have european or asian blood!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

The test you want is a mitrochondrial DNA test!. Mitrochondrial DNA is based solely on one's direct maternal line!. Both men and women can be tested!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You can have a DNA test and it will show what part of the world your ancestors first appeared!. Not sure what it is called, but it can be done!. I guess they would check both yours and your mother's DNA!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
