Hi, my Surname is Watkinson, but teachers at school constantly call me either Watson or even Wilkinson!. Can't they read or something!?

Yes, I have the same problem!. My last name is Cooper, surname derived from the english cask/barrel makers!.

It is mispronounced all the time as copper, the metal used in cheap trinkets and pipes and tubes!.

Although my last name is Flanagan which really isn't that difficult to pronounce!.!.!.!.!.!.!.I've been called Finnegan, Flanders, Sullivan and Murphy!. All people remember is that it's an Irish last name!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
