Dr's name: Lottie Weddington; White Post, KY This listing for Rev L Weddington (Kentucky Birth Records, 1852-1910 ) shows Father: Wm S Weddington; Mother: Lottie Stepp (same as above doctor); and his birth date as 20 Oct 1894--which would fit a time frame if William was born in 1872!. This is according to his draft registration for WWI!. His occupation is Electrician in 1918!. He is of medium height and medium build with red hair and blue eyes!. His wife is named Sarah!. On the census of 1920 he is listed under Scott Weddington!. I could not find his death or burial records, however, I found his wife Sarah's!. Sarah's maiden name was Sarah Devall, she was born 23 Sept!. 1874 in Kentucky and died 20 Nov 1928 in Kentucky!. Her cause of death was influenza!. She was a widow at the time of her death which means that William Scott Weddington died between 1920 and 1928!. Sarah is buried in the Weddington Family Cemetery!. Arrangement were handled by Charles Weddington at the Weddington Funeral Parlor!. I would venture to say that William Scott Weddington is also buried in the Weddington Family Cemetery!. There are two Weddington Family Cemeteries in Kentucky!. One is in Floyd County and the other is in Pike County!.
