1st cousin once removed!. 1st, 2nd, 3rd cousins are all of the same generation respectively!. 1st cousins share grandparents, 2nd cousins share great-grandparents!. But in this relationship the common ancestors are grandparents to you, but great-grand parents to the child!. - Different generations!. So your children will be second cousins to your cousin's children!. When the next generation is born to each of the second cousins they will be third cousins to one another!.
