Question: Does anyone like these names!?

I'm writing a story and i'm think of the following names for some of the characters:

Girls:
Hollis (Holly for short)
Maye
Cassidy

Boys:
Logan
Will
Ashton (Ash for short)
Benjamin (Ben for short)

the nicknames of some of the names are going to be the ones used in the story!.

if you like or don't like tell me!
also, please tell me how each of the characters should be according to the sound of their names
make sense!?

Hollis I can't pernounce easily from the way it's spelled, which is a no no when it comes to writing a story/book!. Is it Hollies or HOllis or Hollis!.!.!. If you really like it, I would make it a point in your story that it is pernounced this way specifically!.

Maye, love that name!. I imagine a very sweet girl with blue eyes and chesnut brown hair!. Moucy, but loving and friendly!. Musical genius!.

Cassidy, love it too!. Popular, miss perfect, catty and a bit of a snot, but still friendly, doesn't really realize that she's snobby!. Spoiled!. OR I could also see the tom-boy sporty chick!.

Logan, tall dark and handsome!.

Will, athletic and funny!. Scrawny!.

Ashton, I've always liked Ash for Ashlee, but that's just personal preference :) Ash always reminds me of Pokemon when it's a guy!. But Ashton, I like that name, I also like Asher!. I think of a brooder, dark and mysterious, but killer smile!. Bright blue eyes, black hair, pale skin!.!.!. vampire basically!. Nice to everyone, but not necessarily popular!. Not a loner either though!.

Benjamin, Mr!. Popular!. Ben, dork!. The name and nickname give total different outlooks to me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No no no!.!.!. No one wants to read a story with original names dood!. Look, if you want a story to be read you need to be more original!. THose names are not cool aside from ashton and maye, hollis is ok too!. But for dood names you need to be a little more WHAMMM i didnt see that name coming!. Because the dudes names are what catch the eyes of most readers and yes that is proven!.

Logan- This name actually is a name that means strong willed but shy so that would be hard to tell but you can fit his name within a story lol

Will- actually means willing to do something but the name means the same thing!. Mind that the name also means short tempered if depressed!.

Ashton- Happy jolly

Benjamin- masculine or you could call him benji for a nick name!.

For grils

Holly- good name with a slutty ring too it to be honest, more of a *****!.!. Trust me!.!.

Maye- sounds like that good loveable type or the type that is relationship material!. Very true and happy!. Leader

Cassidy- sounds kindof like maye but on a more adventurous side!.

i would say that ben sounds geeky (no offense to anyone)
ashton sounds the smart kid who likes to cross the line
will is the kid who always agrees with ash because he knows no better/he wants to be as cool as him
logan is the athletic kid

hollis, maye, and cassidy should all be bestfriends!.
cassidy is the cutest one, maye is the smart one while hollis is the passive agressive girl!. with their different personalities, they still get each other (: its a story, make it colorful!.
