Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
start with where your mother was born (the county, not just the state) and check with the county clerk there!. Since her mother died shortly after her birth, she may have died in the same county, and the death should be recorded there!. They may be able to send you a copy of the death registration, but you might have to prove that you are a descendant!. Whether the record gives the place of burial or not may depend on the county!. If it does not give the cemetery name, the clerk may be able to give you a list of the cemeteries in the area, and who the sextons are, so you can check with them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you know the city where she died there will be someone who takes care of the cemeteries!. You could find out from a local funeral home who to contact!. The local newspaper should have obituaries!. Here are some links where you might be able to find information!.
