Question: My blood type is b would that mean my father has to be b also or does my mother have to be b type also!?
i'm trying to figure out which side of the family i recieved b blood type from, also am i asking this in the right section!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'd have posed the question in one of the health categories, but hey, you're already here, so!.!.!.

For you to be type B, one of your parents has to have the B antigen!. The other may have it, too, or may be type O, A, or AB!.
