Question: What does a 960 next to a persons name mean!? !?
so, the police are placing the numbers 960 next to her name so the other police are aware of her behavior!. What does this mean!? She is constantly harrassing us!. She videotapes my children playing in our front lawn and crawls on her hands and knees to try to hide herself as she records their conversations and then calls the cops stating that the children are wanting to break her windows!. Of course the info is false and she can never prove it!. She even has her two children hide in her van with the doors and windows closed videotaping our children play in our front yard!. She is not allowed in the building of the school both of our children attend!. Just curious as to what a 960 means

It sounds to me like a code number for a certain crime (in this case, from what you described above, it sounds like stalking) committed by this person!. That way, if she's arrested--which she needs to be--again, the next police officer can check her record, see she's done it in the past, and has a "rap sheet" or is an habitual criminal with this type of criminal history!.
