Here in the UK you can go to the register office where your birth was registered and change your name by deed poll there, it will cost ￡40:00 and you do not need to go to a solicitor to make it legal!. You can actually call yourself by any name you choose as long as it isn't to be used for fraudulent purposes!.

To do that you have to go to city hall where you are registered and then you only have the possibility to change it to the surname of your mom or dad!. You can't pick out any different surname you like!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
