That kind of thing happened back in those days!. It is not uncommon at all!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Nope!. There is a lot of normal variation in the age differences between generations, and while your great-grandfather is on the far end, he certainly isn't the oldest possible great grandfather!. Imagine a situation where a man had a child at 49 who had a child at 49 who had a child at 49!. That man would be 147 years older than his great grandchild!. On the other hand, a woman who had a child at 19 who had a child at 19 who had a child at 19 would be 57 years older than her great grandchild!.!.!. and if the tradition held would live to see her great-great grandchildren and maybe even third great grandchildren!. My great grandmother died last week at the age of 91 and had many great-great grandchildren, some of who were almost old enough to have kids of their own!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
