Question: I really want to research my family tree!?

i really want to research my family tree!. i have all my great grandparents names and rough dates they died!. anyone got any ideas as to where i go from here!? or good internet sites t us that dont cost a fortune!. many thanks xWww@QuestionHome@Com

Hi - assume you are Scottish so that is a good start !. Scottish genaealogical records are about the best and you can print out certificates yourself !. Our English cousins have to buy at ￡ 7 a time !.

ScotlandsPeople ( Government site ) is a pay site but quite superb !. Free sites are Family Search ( Mormons /LDS ) - good but as it is a transcription site lot of errors and not prime source !. also good for Scotland is Ancestry !.co!.uk although its census transcriptions are chronic ! Take a monthly ticket ( about ￡12 ) and you can use it without more cost !. Cancel when you have had enough !. Good site !. also try FreeCen and FreeBMD !. Genes Reunited is incredible !. Join up ( about ￡7 ) and you can access a heap of info posted by relies !.

if u know the place where they died , go to that municipality or birth and death register office , apply for certificate , with that rough date!. they will search and find it !.!. get one copy of that,
in that certificate , your great grand father's parents will be mention,
from that , with oprox date , u can find your great grand father's birth certificate !.!.
it sucks time!.!. but interesting one!.!.
