There are two kinds of genes; dominant genes where you only have to inherit from one parent for the gene to appear and recessive genes where you need one from both parents!.

An example of a dominant gene would be one for brown eyes!. An example of a recessive gene would be one for blue eyes!.
Slanted eyes probably come from more than one gene, sounds very pretty with dark skin!.

And the black gene is not the strongest, there is no single black gene and there is no such thing as a 'strongest' gene!Www@QuestionHome@Com

gene strength just determines what will come out, but not what you will get, and there is no "black gene" or "asian gene", you will get a mix of features from eye colour or skin tone, but basically the gene for each has a 50/50 chance of even getting to you, my wife is asian, i have blue eyes, there is a 50% chance that my blue eyes gene will be passed on, and then it will only show in my child if the gene is more dominant than the gene recieved from my wife, basically 1 in 4 of my children (statistically) will have blue eyes, but all will share asian and white features!.

after that, i could have a brown eyed child still carrying the blue gene and it could show up again in 5 generations, or even in 50 untill there is a child born carrying the gene where it is dominant!. it can be carried theoretically forever, but of course darwin pointed out that genes that are bad for us will die out as those that carry it will be killed before they can breed, genes that make us stronger are carried on!.!.!. so in humans where this no longer applies it could be theoretically carried forever!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
