Question: Was Shitz alturd at Ellis Island!?

Dear Readers,
Please, do not peruse the following, if you are easily offended!.
I am not trying to offend or make fun of anyone, but rather answer a funny question and lighten a rather boring day!.

Sure, he was there!.
He was the janitor in charge of cleaning up all of that crap, left behind by the immigrants!.
He said that he only took the job, because he was flushed for cash!. But, after awhile he decided to plunge himself into his new career and, once he got a handle on the daily routine, he soon found himself in a whirlpool of activities!.
His wife said that it was a good thing he got that job, as he was beginning to sink into a depression!. She was also happy when he got his first bonus check, because they were able to afford a new pot and a new window!.
Prior to working at Ellis Island, he lifted heavy bottles at the Fartzalot Gas Company, which was very straining on his stomach muscles!.
When he was just a little squirt, he worked for a septic tank company!. He quit, after his Uncle Fulla Schitt, refused to pay him, so Shitz knows a thing or two about getting dumped on!.
Now, you may not be aware of this, but he is a direct descendant of Shitzin Bull (whom he was named after), chief of the Shitzor Go Blind Tribe, and his wife Squattin' Hefer!. She was the driving force behind the "Put The Lid Down" movement, which raised a lot of stink in many families!.
Shitz has a great-grandson, named Peebody Alturd, who works with my husband at the bed pan factory!. I'll tell him you said "Hi", when I see him at the company potty, I mean party!

No, nothing was "alturd" at Ellis Island!. When immigrants changed their names, it was them doing it, not the mysterious Governmental Officials Trying to Eradicate the Foreigner's Heritage!.

Most shipping companies required names and addresses to be legibly printed on shipping lists before they'd even take on passengers!. If you find people with names misspelled in the shipping lists -- and on www!.ellisisland!.org -- it's because of sloppy penmanship or bad transcription, not some official changing "shitz!."Www@QuestionHome@Com
