Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
If she is the one who was the sister of your mother or father, then yes!. If it was her husband that is the sibling to one of your parents, then no!.

If she was the sister to one of your parents, the husband is not your uncle once they divorce or she dies because you do not share any common ancestors with him!. He was only your uncle by marriage and that marriage no longer exists, so neither does the relationship on the family tree!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If your great grandmother died before you were born, is she still your great grandmother!?

Yes, accordingly, if your aunt died before you were born, she is still your aunt, and her husband would still be considered your uncle!.
