No, it doesn't!. For a start, Ireland was under British rule until 1922 and as such there were people who are British citizens under the "grandparents" rule!. also, during the 1916 rising there was a fire in the offices which housed the official census documents!. Many Irish people used this to hide their history in order not to co-operate with the British officials!.
The Mormon church has a very good site for helping to trace ancestors!.

It isnt as easy as in the rest of the u!.K even in the North which is still U!.K as there were not as many censuses and records were pt well kept!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
