Can someone with an ancestry!.com account please see if you can find a Joseph Price (born 1833 died 1909) and his wife Edith Morris (born 1840 died 1915)!. Both died in Iowa but may have been from Ohio originally!. Please let me know if you can find anything on their parents/grandparents and if so if it goes back pretty far!. I dont want to buy a membership if its not going to have information on them!.

Census of 1850 Ohio Isaac Price, age 64 born in Maryland wife is Mary, age 58, born in Maryland Children are: Joseph, age 16 born in Ohio; Isaac, age 21 born in Maryland and a child named Martha Brian, age 12 born in Ohio Isaac is a farmer!. Marriage information Isaac Price b!. 1780 married Mary Foster, born 1806 in about 1830 in Maryland!. Living next door to them was Edmund Morse, same age and with very similar demographics!. I wouldn't rule out that Morris might also be found as Morse when you're searching!. If this is your family, there isn't anything on Ancestry that you couldn't have one of us email to you!. I'd suggest you go to the library to use their subscription and see if there's anything worth paying for!. The families were obviously not immigrants, so there could be as much as 200 years of history for you to find!. But if you're just starting out, I'd suggest going to the library to start your search anyway, where you get access to the DAR books and other records that Ancestry doesn't have online!. That way you're not making a giant investment at the outset without a sense of where it's taking you!.
